Marine- and stationary heavy duty engines
ROWE offers a wide range of special high-performance lubricants for use in heavy-duty engines for achieving commercial success. Reduced evaporation and high oxidation levels guarantee extended maintenance intervals and thereby contribute to lower maintenance costs. ROWE Marine and Powerplant lubricants are consistently formulated using high-quality base oils and additives.
The SAE classification explains
The SAE classification roughly divides the different engine oils into classes of different flow behaviour.
The number before (5W-30) indicates the lowest temperature at which the oil is still pumping. The number after the W (5W-30) indicates the flow behaviour at 100°C.
