We develop our products on the race track
ROWE has also been developing lubricants on the race track for over 10 years. The "mobile laboratory" is used to develop new products, optimise formulas and to achieve what cannot be replicated in any lab in the world: a practical test under extreme conditions – which produces successful results. The challenges of the Nordschleife are among the important parameters that drive development forwards, particularly in terms of gearbox wear.

1 kilometre on the Nordschleife is equivalent to roughly 20 kilometres in road traffic.
In 2017, ROWE drove a total of 158 laps with the BMW M6 GT3, combining the Grand Prix circuit and Nordschleife at the 24 Hours. Therefore, approx. 4,100 km were driven in 24 hours - at full throttle! If you wanted to simulate this load in a road vehicle under normal, everyday conditions, you would have to multiply this number by 20, which would correspond to 82,000 kilometres of driving.
